Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Accounts, Taxation & Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our publicly listed manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management within listed organizations and demonstrate proficiency in SAP systems, particularly SAP B1. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of financial regulations, reporting standards, and manufacturing industry nuances.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to regulatory bodies, including SEBI and stock exchanges.
  • Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and external audits, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.
  • Debtors, Creditors & Stock Ageing and 26 AS reconciliation and GST TDS & Input reconciliation.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
      • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with departmental heads.
      • Monitor budgetary performance and analyse variances between actuals and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
SAP System Management:
      • Oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP B1 modules, ensuring seamless integration with financial operations.
      • Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance SAP functionalities.
      • Provide training and support to finance team members on SAP functionalities and best practices.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
      • Manage the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
      • Implement effective credit control measures and monitor aging reports to mitigate financial risks.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure accurate computation and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
      • Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities to address tax-related matters, 3CB & 3CD & 15 CA/CB etc and Direct & Indirect Tax Audits.
Financial Analysis & Strategy:
    • Sales register reconciliation and COGS Analysis & Profitability analysis and reason for variance.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including investment appraisals and cost-benefit analyses.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience Education: Inter CA or MBA or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in a publicly listed company, with a thorough understanding of compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience in SAP system implementation and management, particularly SAP B1.
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS), and corporate governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Industry Exposure
  • Experience in manufacturing operations, with an understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production processes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Direct & Indirect Tax Compliances.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Efficiency in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Effectiveness of SAP system utilization and enhancements.
  • Reduction in outstanding receivables and improved cash flow management.
